Dear Customer,

We received your e-mail today regarding an image in a catalogue supplied to our stores by Gloss Star Pty Ltd, the supplier of Blue Juice.

The catalogue referred to was produced by Gloss Star Pty Ltd and distributed to all of the retailers which sell Blue Juice. A very small number were supplied to a small group of Myer stores in January 1999 and these have not been replenished. Myer Grace Bros have checked with our stores today to confirm that no copies of this catalogue are on show in any of our stores.

Myer Grace Bros Management only today became aware of the concerns of the Muslim Community in relation to the material contained in this catalogue. Myer Grace Bros and Coles Myer Ltd had no intention whatsoever of causing offence to any members of the community and have contacted Gloss Star Pty Ltd to relay both our and your concerns.

Myer Grace Bros apologises for and deeply regrets any offence that the material contained in the Blue Juice Catalogue may have caused any of our customers and we thank your for bringing the concerns of the Muslim Community to our attention.
